Staubi rocks your Soul!

Good Bye, Mr. Review, doch vorher lassen wir's nochmal krachen!
Tomorrow Mr Review will play it’s very last show and now we’re in the final episode it makes me realize more than ever that I was part of something special.
Almost 12 years ago I had the chance to join the band and since that time I played about 350 shows with them all over europe in countries such as Spain, France, Belgium, Luxemburg, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Switzerland and Czech, they even took me to Athens!
And ofcourse Germany! Can’t even remember how many times we crossed the german border..
Thousands of kilometers in tour-vans and planes, from hotel to gig to hotel, playing venues and festivals. The first months I couldn’t believe my eyes: people in the crowd wore band-shirts, badges and buttons..
Soon I got used to the fact that I was part of a band wich is real popular in a scene wich has a very, very loyal audience and looking at the (dutch) musicindustry these days I realize more than ever that you never ever should take things for granted.
Mr Review managed to survive the musicbiz for 3 decades making albums wich literally were sold worldwide. They appeared in radio- and tvshows, they even appeared in a movie.
But most of all we “just” toured and played gigs..
In my humble opinion Mr Review made a great contribution to dutch (alternative) popmusic.
Tomorrow we will go on the road again, heading for Berlin for the 9th or 10th time, playing our very last gig. Doing that I will realize that thanks to the original bandmembers, my fellow bandmembers and especially thanks to a wonderful crowd, I had the chance to be part of something really special.
Thank you so very much guys, for sure I’ll never forget..
Now come on Berlin!!
Ich hoffe, wir sehen uns!
